Artists

Pedro Meireles

Born in Porto, Pedro Meireles is recognized as one of the most outstanding violinists of his generation. He graduated with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London and has been awarded several academic prizes.

He has performed as a soloist with the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, as a soloist/concertmaster with the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra and the Gulbenkian Orchestra. He has also collaborated with internationally renowned orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

In addition to his work as a soloist and chamber musician, he is frequently invited to sit on juries and lead masterclasses. He currently holds the position of associate principal viola in the Porto Symphony Orchestra – Casa da Música.

João Paulo Moreira

João Paulo Moreira is an award-winning pianist from Trofa, known for his expressiveness and virtuosity. A graduate of ESMAE and currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Aveiro, he has performed in Portugal, Germany, Mexico, and other countries.

He was a finalist in international competitions such as Guadalajara and distinguished at the Calabria International Piano Competition. In 2025, he released his debut CD, “Begin,” performing works by Bach, Schubert, and Saint-Saëns. His repertoire includes Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and 20th-century Portuguese music. With technical mastery and lyrical sensitivity, he performs in Portugal and internationally, standing out at classical festivals and competitions.

Carla - Lady C

Born in Mirandela and a graduate of the Lisbon School of Music, Carla, artistically known as Lady C, is a Portuguese violinist with a solid and eclectic career.

Since 2022, she has been a member of the folk band Quinta do Bill, adding to a history of collaborations with artists such as Tony Carreira, Michael Bublé, Mariza, Bernardo Sassetti, and Carlos do Carmo.

Her versatility allows her to shine in both classical settings and modern productions, performing at weddings, luxury events, and large venues, always with a striking presence
